Compiler Issues...

Hi I just started programming in java, working with Karel ++. I'm a total newb at computers in general and since I do not have class for the next 5 days I need a hand with some things and I found this forum.

So to get strait to it, I'm trying to write the Athlete superclass for Robot on my computer and it all goes fine until I tell my IDE (JCreater) to compile my source code. It tells me that I have an error, and says the following:

ERROR: Invailid Path \bin\javac -"C:\..........."

Now before this I had installed the JDK from Sunware I think it is called, which I was told has the karel ++ information and codes in it. This may seem very simple but I'm having trouble comprehending just how I'm supposed to get it to compile. I've tried putting it in the same folder as the JDK and other folders I created such as "Java Projects." Does it matter where I put it? When I first started up JCreater it asked for a home path, which I specified, but it later told me that it was invalid.

Yeah please excuse the very simple question that I realize can probably be answered by reading a previous post, but thank you anyways =\

Just a matter of preference. I prefer JCreator as well.

It looks like you'll have to change the paths for JCreator. Sorry if I'm not much help.
