IP of crosslinked computer

I was kinda wondering... what is the IP of a computer, crosslinked to your computer? Could it be 127.0.0.2?

I assume you mean that your are connection the two with a crossover network cable. In this case. it is whatever you assign it. 127.0.0.2 is not a good idea. You need to set a netmask and assign addresses within the defined range, just as you would normally. A simple setup: 255.255.255.0 for the netmask, and 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 for the host IPs. Then set up the route and you should be cookin'.
