Just wanted to get my idea out... It's already been done before, but you gotta pay! Well, there are free ones, but you know
I'm planning (started already) on making a hex editor, un-assembler, assembler, and plain text editor all in one. I will be using AutoIt... I will be utilizing debug.exe, and the windows API to "read" binary files ... I think I'll be able to unasmble, and reasmble... I still have to study debug.exe more... This program may not have all the "picky" like tools... Like a toolbar, but as development goes on, I will get into the picky stuff... Just want to get the core working first. Most projects I love to finish overnight, but I'd love to take my time on this one, and see what I can come up with... Especially since I rarely use the computer anymore... It will be a while, but it will come... Cheers! ![]() |

I was planning to work on a similar project, but only the hex-editor. If you want we can put our hands together on it...
