Ooh I understand. Well, don't say not smart enough, it's all just on the path of learning HTML/PHP. But yes, in my BBS, I just put all of the text in a <div> tag on the board, like so:
<td hspace=5 valign=top>
<div class=\"comment\">$comment</div>
</td>
And then it just shows up along with the rest of the post. It does look better to me and that's how most everyone does it (it gives a more professional look to not have scrollbars all over the place :p ), but YMMV.

Well I suppose the time issue could be overcome by checking the filenames and ensuring that a file with a similar name doesn't already exist, like asking the user to resubmit or something in the case where they're trying to post at the same time. Because while the timestamp might be the same I'm assuming that opening/creating the files at the same time isn't likely.

I kinda like the iframes, it makes scrolling through all of the threads less painful on me, I realize it might be annoying on the micro scale, but I like it on the macro.

There was some confusion as to the setup of the forum. Therefore, I've included a compressed archive with all necessary files. Extract the archive and open the file called "readme_first.txt". This will explain the setup steps for the forum. These files are the ones used on the Team of Heroes guild page, if you need a visual reference as to how it looks.

Hope this helps.
