Post .NET Framework 2.0 (Beta)

Online reviewed .NET Framework 2.0 (Beta), they said the applications developed with previous .Net Framework are not backward compatible, Is this true? Please confirmed.

Thank you for the informations.

Well obvouisly if you used a new feature of .NET 2.0 which you can see there are quite a few if you compare 1.1's docs to 2.0s then obvouisly it won't be backward compatiable. I imagine most things will be.

You can have both frameworks installed on the same machine so that each program will request the framework that it needs.
I doubt that Microsoft will release a product that is not backward compatible(you can run win3.x programs on Windows xp  mainly because they use the old code and build on it) but it might be because .NET 2.0 is still in beta.
