Visual Basic 6.0

Sorry I know this is not the best place to be posting this but could someone please give me a link to a site where I could get visual basic 6.0 or at least a trial because I cant find a site with it and I would like to get some practice in Visual Basic before school starts again.

Visual basic is software that you would have to get from microsoft.

I am not sure that they made a trial version of it or not. But if you find a "free" version of it that would be illegal.

I do know that they have beta versions available for download of visual basic .net 2005

You can grab a copy of Sharp Develop if you are looking into coding in VB .NEThttp://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/

If you have the choice, I would suggest ditching VB and going with VB .NET.

Even if your school hasn't upgraded to VB.NET, you still can get an "official" copy of VB6 with .NET Professional or better off the Microsoft site direct. However if you google there are several sites where you can buy a disc or a download perfectly legally.

Or acquire it in any other number of ways. Just remember software piracy makes Bill Gates cry.
