I'm everywhere mate - I'm pretty sure I've read over 99% of posts in these forums. While I would have initially thought you wouldn't be allowed to use player names with a letter changed, etc, Rockstar managed it in the original Grand Theft Auto. All the car names were pretty damn similar to their real-life counterparts.

This actually sounds really neat. Although I am not myself a hardcore Football/Soccer fan, I still enjoy Management Sims, and I really enjoy coding. If you need anyhelp, just pm me, and ill be glad to help ;-). Im looking forward to a release from this How's the progress going?

Sounds pretty nifty mate.

As for player names....EAs Fifa bought all the rights to the players names (Good ol' EA for you), and so other games, who couldn't be bothered to get into that affair of giving money to players just to use their name in a game just drop or add letters....Does Pro Evolution ring any bells for ya, haha(Winning Elven in the states).

Also, you're not profiting from said project I assume. As a non-profit hobbyist, you have all the right in the world....I highly doubt EA will waste court costs on such matters if it isn't detrimental to their business.
