Ahhhhhhhhh, the Atari shown at that link is their shot at a PC. I only ever used the "game console", which was made as cheaply as one could make anything without resorting to recycled cardboard, baling wire, and chewing gum!

EDIT: This is the Atari I was familiar with, introduced in 1977. Plug in a game cartridge and a couple joysticks and go.
