VC++ / MFC Audio

Hello everybody,

Does anyone know how to invoke a audio file to be played, either through an ActiveX componnet, or through a class or something, I tried the web, but the all seem to be fruitless.

Perhaps im searching for the wrong thing, I dont know.

Thanks for the help.

Nellie

I used QT QSound class methods before to do that, worked fine on Windows, but for *nix you have to check for the audio resources and types of audio files they mention in the documentation.

You could try the PlaySound function.
