So all you have so far is HelloWorld ..... and you want a "complex" project ?
Hmm ... gotta learn a few more things first. I'm not going to be original: file I/O <- will save you a lot of time later.
Like try opening an existing file, changing it's contents and writing it to another file.

I made a program to calculate the circumfrence of a circle if you give it the radius...

But for an actual real first project, I suggest the text-based RPG... Lots of creativity involved.

Hi,

hm a project i learned sth form was coding an alevator-simulation.
Another good start is to code some ADTs yourself.

Or you could write a program that is capable of transforming boolean expressions.
Let's say it gets an expression with mixed junctors and it would transform it to all nand- or nor-expressions. It could pretty print some trees to visualize it.
