There's a link posted in the last day or two for "Thinking in C++", by Bruce Eckel. Shouldn't take more than three or four minutes worth of effort to find it, if you can spare the time.

In Texas, especially, a "dude" is a Detroit (or similar) yankee that came down (so he could find a job), bought a hat with a feather, and a can of Skoal. The horse's ass is called "boss".
