i cant get linux on my oc, cause its pointless ic ant get online, cause my PC wireless adapter from linksys wmp11 v4, so i need to begin python real soon, is it possible to program on windows, or is there another alternatve, cause i really have the fire to learn!

you can program on any os out there. go to the python website and download the windows version and start from there. its called the windows installer

you can put a link to it in your sig
but i have put python on windows and it seems to work fine for me. you could put it on windows untill you get a *nix machine running that way you can still get some practice in before then.

The linksys version 4 adapter has no support in linux yet... UNLESS you use Linuxant. http://www.linuxant.com (you will also need to increase the stack size in your kernel to at least 12k stacks).

I actually got annoyed with the card an purchase an MSI PCMCIA adapter, the driver is not included in the 2.6 kernel yet, but you can download one from sourceforge, called rt2400 (compiles as a module) and they are wonderfully cheap cards.
