maths quiz software

I'm currently assign to program a maths quiz software that can allow teachers to edit or create questions, save them and after that publish them to html format. when publish to html format, the teacher will then pass the html formated quizes to the student to do. I'm currently searching for a open source editor (in java) but still couldnt find a suitable one. I've came across jex but it couldnt print out maths symbols. pls guys if you manage to come across pls send me the link for it. thanks in advance.
