I dont have the MSDN collection with my VB6 package, does anyone know where I can download this.

You could just use http://msdn.microsoft.com/, which is much more up-to-date.

It's not actually released, in that you're only allowed to view it online and not download it (delete your cache now!), hence the reason whenever you jump from a google result it always adds on that slow-loading contents thingy. It's so they can make yet more money from the MSDN subscription programme that good programmers spend good money on to develop for their buggy systems. Grrr!

yea in the future the MSDN collection should be free, somtimes you do actually need it but not enought to buy it

You can often get away with using the context sensitive popups for simple things like syntax. I rarely have to look at msdn so the free online version suits me just fine. If I have a problem I usually google search first before trying msdn because it's easier to work out what's going on from a good tutorial with example code rather than microsoft's way of wording things.

I agree with TooDice's analysis. Although, google results sometimes point to MSDN.
