Well there are two types of Visual Basic.

The older versions, like VB6, VB5, VB4 and gthe ones before that, and the more modern and probably more widely used kind of Visual Basic .. VB.net. It matters what VB you have because the programming in .net is different to the programming in VB6.

It's hard for anyone to answer your question unless you know for certain. A simple search in google or yahoo! can't do any harm though.
