I also ADORE how people always talk about existence and how certain people have little to no importance in living. Like you said, it's online. You can't tell what someone's like because it's online. I probably have more a life than this whole form put together, but of course you wouldn't know that because you just base your ideas and conclusions on assumptions, without backing them with facts.

So you say I have a pitiful existence huh, just wait. 10 20 even 30 years from now, you'll be living another average life, just like any other average person, making the same average salary year after year, while I'm on top, buying and selling people like you, living it up on my own private island.

You're thinking, "ya, whatever man, go suck me off you fucker", but whatever, think what you want. It's called ambition, and it's something not a lot of this country has (at least half doesn't). I constantly push for the best, and so what if I"m money hungry. Is that a bad thing? Just because I want to work hard and have better things than other people, is that horribly wrong? Why on earth would we have a laissez-faire government then?

And, if programming isn't the answer, then I'll simply move on to something else.

Do you know my great uncle was a gym teacher, and he ended up getting fired for being drunk. Well, he took all his money, spent it on some cheap hotel to live in, and he fixed the building up here and there until it was looking really nice. He started doing business, and before he knew it, he had enough money to buy another hotel. So, on and on the chain went, 10 years passed, and then he bought a construction copmany, along with many more hotels and other businesses.

Here he is, now 30 years later, and he's a multi multi millionaire. He WAS a gym teacher. He deserves every penny.

Live normally for all I care, all I know is 10 years from now I'm going to be sipping on cocktails in the Carribean with my wife, while you're still womanizing with woman richer than you, in hopes of wedding one of them so you can bang for your money.

Massive-War... I assume that you watch just a little bit too much television.
For me, me calling myself an alcoholic is more of a joke... I'll try to explain.
Whenever anyone offers me alcohol, I quickly think if I am actually doing anything that will be affected by the alcohol. I could drink 3 cans of beer and be barely affected by it, so unless I'm being offered enough to really fuck me up and mess up anything that I have planned I'll say "Fuck yeah."
For some reason my best friend seems to think that I'm an alcoholic because everytime someone offers me alcohol, I say yeah.
So whenever he introduces me to someone, he has to be an idiot and be all like "He's a computer genuis, blah blah blah" Which actually pisses me off because I consider myself to be far from being a computer genius, I'm at the level where I make the average computer user look like a dumbass. So when he says that I'm always like "Yeah, just like I'm an alcoholic, right?"

Nobody cares...

Pizentios says, "So, i don't think the amount of drugs or alcohol that i intake has nothing to do with how good i program....although, sometime it makes for a long next day of debugging." Apparently he's too stoned to see what's wrong with that statement. And I'm not even talking about the grammar.

Not really up for a rant, just thought it was funny that someone would say, "Coding when stoned doesn't impact my programming, but somehow the next day the code is all screwed up."

Programmers are funny.
