Compile error
I was thinking I have some source code that a friend gave me.
Can you copy & paste the code straight into VB6 and then compile it to make it straight into a program or do you have to add bits of the code to different parts of the boxes the project is a simple .EXE program. Thanks if anyone can help ![]() |

This depends on the program, but it is unlikely all the code fits in one module, certainly not just one procedure. As you're evidently new to VB, you'd be best to get the original source files off your friend (extensions are likely to be some of .vb? .fr? .ba? .cl? .uc? .res) but if you post (part of) the code people here could talk you through how it works.
