I'm looking to learn assembly, the basics anyways...
Have no experience! Know computers, but don't know squat about C++, Java, or any kind of programming in general. I'm a good reader, and would like to think I learn quickly. If anyone happens to have any good e-books or literature on getting started, could they e-mail me something to start with? If I find this to be something I'm really going to follow through with... I'll purchase the books. Guess I'm lookin for a taste Can e-mail any info etc... to noco7@dishgods.ca Hope it's ok to post this sort of question in here, & Great site by the way! ThanX NoCo7 |

Also, look into a book by Jeff Dunteman called Assembly Language Step-by-Step.

In order to learn this language, i think the most effective way is to learn theory before ANYTHING else, I have three books in pdf... 7M, 6M, and 3M, one of them discusses the theories, the other two are for intermediate and advanced, i'll try to send this to your email...

You might want to check out RosAsm.
It is a RAD tool. The program is an assembler integrated with a source editor, disassembler, debugger, visual resource editor and a forms wizard. Plus, a huge help system that explains how to code in Win32 assembly. The URL is: http://betov.free.fr/RosAsm.html Best Regards, Yeoh

Win32 Assembly Programming Using RosAsm
http://www.geocities.com/yeohhs/
Here you can find Win32 assembly programs (and source codes embedded in the PE) built using RosAsm. :-) You can also find my RosAsm programs at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosasm-users/ in the files section. Or you can download all the programs in one zip (~3.80 MB) Best Regards, Yeoh
