Easiest Way To Write Code
I usually use Visual Studio on the few occasions when I do a bit of programming.
Now I want to play with some ideas and thought to use maybe a BASIC type thing to do it but found Visual Studio won't work on this machine I've got now.
Can't install it. Won't install.
I don't want to screw around forever with it. Not worth it for what I want to do.
Just want to start knocking up a bit of simple code and running it.
So what's the way to do that nowadays, on a Windows box? WinXP this is, too.
Thought to maybe work on web pages and use PHP but found I can't put PHP on this machine either. It must be really sick.
There used to be a sort of Dos box BASIC didn't there?

Re: Easiest Way To Write Code
Do you mean to say you are using Windows XP when saying WinXP? If so you need to get a new computer that runs Windows 10. That would be why your computer is not working they stopped updating XP a while ago now. In doing so people who use computers with XP in it are extremely susceptible to viruses.
