Relationship between mvc & C#

Is mvc & C# linked in any way?
If so, how are they connected?
What is an actual relationship between the two?

what is mvc? Microsoft Visual C? There is no such language, that is just the name of a compiler.

MVC stands for Model View Controller. It is a UI programming pattern, that can be used by any language. It is basically used to separate your business logic from your UI code. Microsoft provides a basic template for this through ASP.net (with C# as the backend): http://www.asp.net/mvc

It can also be applied to WinForms or WPF. The general information on the pattern can be found here:
