help with setting path for scripting..
i need help with python i recently ran a script that messed with my cdroms now there not detected to windows xp and i was wondering how to set the path for enabling scripting.. the script that messed with my cd roms is a=2 b=3 a=2*a b=3*b c=a+b print c please help thanks.

there should be absolutly no reason that script would have messed with your CD roms. All that does is assign numbers to variables and then do some mathmatic operations on them. Were you doing anything else durring that time that could of affetced your cdrom drive?

That made absolutely no sense. How does a simple equation mess up your hardware?

i dunno what happend but i reloaded some software for my cd roms and i got them working again but i still have a question about preparing my computer to use scripts i forced the python.exe in directory of c now how do i setup the path can anyone help?

I'm confused about your question; you shouldn't need to set up any path. If you put it in the C: it should be here:
"C:\Python23\Lib\idlelib\idle.pyw" (Assuming you have Python 2.3, if not: change the Python23 to the name of your folder) |
