Profile Page Tracking Using .net
I am building a simple, I guess you can say social site, that will have profile pages and I am looking for a way to keep track of the profile pages. I want to be able to store the page views from authenticated users, anonymous users, their browser, location, etc. pretty much like a basic analytics but I want it to be stored in a DB table , so I can later use the data in charts.
I know I can set up google analytics filters but not automatically when a user signs. I did find this article but it is more for tracking the person that has the profile instead of what I am trying to do. Every site out there has some kind of profile tracking but I can't find any examples or even plugins that I can use. Any ideas? Any help would be awsome!! Thanks in advance. |
