Exclamation USB Interfacing

Hi, i have worked wtih parrallel port interfacing, i am wondering if anyone has any idea aboout USB interfacing using assembly language. or maybe can tell about a good resourse book or site.

interfacing usb using assembly would be very hard to do.. since the port number of the usb device vary between computers... so u need to get a hold of that port. and also the timing sequence of each command the usb understands is veryveryvery little. so timing would be very essential in accessing the usb....

try this.. http://www.usbmicro.com they hav a product U4x1 but that is windows-based. try looking for the book "creating you own usb device" i forgot if its the right title.. i hav to look it up.

thanku, the interfacing i wish to implememnt is to be done can be with high levl programing language, VB or C++ fore xample. is this makes it easier to do the interfacing? again if any resources this will help me alot. thanks
