Who here is going to nationals (or at least competed) in the programming competition?
There was some programming competition through school called BSP, or BPP, or something (I can't remember). My friend is going to california for nationals next month, and I was just wondering if this was a well-known event or if it was a secret ordeal.
The reason I brought this up is because I'm pissed off that I didn't know about it until after the state competition. No one told me, I had no clue this was going on, and it would have been nice to go to California. Damn |

I'm going to move this to the lounge since this isn't really C/C++ related.

neither have i. In Canada we have something called Skills Canada. But it covers pretty much every subject that get's taught in Canadian highschools. I went to the provincial finals for web programming back when i had a afro. I came in second. If you get to the finals and win, there are prizes (like scolorships etc). I also entered in mechanical drafting, we had to build mini bridges and see how much weight they could hold. Mine however had the glue still a bit to wet and only held about half the weight it could have.
