Hi,
I am getting an access violation error when I try and create a Bitmap in memory.

maze:=TBitmap.Create;

where maze:TBitmap.

I have already drawn an image to maze but I free the memory so I should be able to use bitmap again?

Any suggestions most appreciated

Don't free the memory - you're probably removing maze altogether in the process.
