Thanks everyone. But, I'm only 16 and I'm really interested in programming. I still have 2 years left of school though (well 1.5 years of schooling and 2-including the summer after senior year) before I would go to college. What would you suggest I start doing now then? Just keep reading up on programming and stuff and just keep waiting till I can go to college? I want to get so far so fast, and learning on my own pace is awesome, but there seems just not enough time to do everything. So, my point being, would a university really help me understand programming to the far next level (say after I had been programming for years previous to college) or just a fancy way of saying "I went to college and learned programming."
BTW, does anyone know any good programming schools? Or are they all just like those other technology schools that don't really teach you anything.
So, should I go to a school specified on programming or go to a college and learn programming or major in it at that college?
Thanks again everyone.
Sincerely,
Jason
