Red face

This is the story my dad keeps telling me:

To get a job with a company you have to get past the human resources folks (HR). They go by the book! A job description for a beginning programmer has a requirement of a college level study in computer science, finishing with a BS or MS degree. If you don't have this, tough luck! These folks won't even consider you, even if you would be an absolute genius! They won't bother to test you for equivalency. Your application ends up in the circular file.
Basta!

So, when I finish high school, off to college I go!
