running linux

arod199113 Programmer Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 86 Rep Power: 0	running linux i have knoppix 3.7 on a cd that i can boot when i turn the computer on i was wondering if i can take the files from the cd and copy them to my hard drive then have it so when the computer turns on it askes you which would i like to run: windows xp or linux if its posible how would i do it?
