there are 2 assignments: number 1: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Consider the following program segment Java Syntax (Toggle Plain Text)
b. Write a Java statement that declares console to be a Scanner object for inputting data from the standard input device. c. Write Java statements that declare and initialize the following named constants: SECRET of the type int initialized to 11,and RATE of the type double initialized to 12.50. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- number 2: Write a program that prompts the user to input a length expressed in centimeters. The program should convert the length to inches,to the nearest inch, and then output the length expressed in yards, feet, and inches,in that order. For example,123 inches would be output as: 3 yard(s), 1 feet (foot), and 3 inch(es) not as anything else Last edited by Sane; Jan 27th, 2009 at 10:36 PM.
