How to run a macro in MSProject from Excel?

Hi,

I'm totally new to vb and I want to write a programme that will loop between excel and project. I have already written the functions that I need in Excel and Project.

However, I need to find out how to automatically run a macro in Project after running a macro in Excel, without having to manually go into project and run the macro. ie how to I write code to run a Project macro in Excel?

Thank you very much. Any help is much appreciated.

Your probally looking for VBA, not vb. VBA is what's in excel and probally MS Project. i have an ebook some where about it if you want.

Hi Pizentios,

Thanks for your reply. Well, in Excel and MSProject, I open 'Visual Basic Editor' and the project is 'VBAProject'. So I guess it is VBA??

Anyhow, any help is good help, so I would really appreciate it if you could fwd me the ebook about this. Thank you!
