Ubuntu 8.04 Questions.
Ok, so I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 on my laptop, and I want to view flash video's on youtube and such, but it won't let me install a flash player, does anyone know how I can fix this?

If I remember correctly, the package for Flash is flashplugin-nonfree.
In that case, the command to run would be sudo aptitude update to first update the repositories and then sudo aptitude install flashplugin-nonfree Although if I've remembered the name incorrectly, you can always search all packages available with something like: aptitude search flash

Well, like the error says, at some point you probably interrupted an update. The message also helpfully tells you how to fix it, by running dpkg --configure -a. Do that, then try again.

since i'm new to linux, how would i run that since when i put in dpkg --configure -a it gives me this error
