Scintilla Help?

Hey, i was wondering if anyone could give me a good how-to on how to install scintilla? I mean, i don't even really know what IDE i should use since it says i can't use VC unless its VC6 and i can't find it for the life of me.

So any help would be great, thanks .

What's it? Also, by VC and VC6 I assume you mean visual studio. Don't use that m$ crap. I suggest using eclipse.

I happen to like the M$ crap myself; especially the debugger M$ uses is pretty helpful when you don't know what you're doing.

Re: Scintilla Help?

"it" was the scintilla176.zip file it has which is called a VC++ 6 Project file, and they are named things like scintilla_vc6...

I tried converting but can't convert to current...

If i remember right eclipse wasn't OOP? If it works well, i'll use it but the OOP is something i'd definitely want .

Re: Scintilla Help?

Eclipse works with any language as long as you have plug-in for it.
