GUI woes

Oh noes he's back:wink:

anyways, I was wondering if creating a editable coordinate plane is possibal without using GUIs

What I mean by this is like those old Rogue RPG games that most of us have come across you know when the @ represented your character in a maze of symbols that all representing things

eg)

|--|@-| d=dragon
|D\xxx| D=big dragon
|d_|__| \=door
@=character

so can I use print statements to create "maps" like above but that can be changed around automatically(in the above example as in the movement of the character, transforming the @ in the desired direction), or am I just lazy and should learn about using pyGUIs

No, I actually deleted what I wrote because I decided it wasn't helpful. Unfortunately the ability to delete posts was removed by the new management. Hint, hint.
