Re: Web 2.0

web 2.0 is a type of feel, you should use colours that pop, gradients and also a overzealous sprinkling of ajax doesn't go astray. you want to try to incorporate a seamless feel to your application which means auto complete's, prefetching data using xml or json techniquies and making fancy animations and reflections here and there.

my question is:

flash can do everytrhing ajax can do but is not so SEO friendly (or accessible) on the other hand it is developer friendly (in how damn easy it is to use and also quite powerful) is it worth the compromise?

Re: Web 2.0

I personally don't think flash is worth it, alot of users hate flash. I personally won't visit sites that are full of flash, esp hate sites that are all flash. I also don't think it is worth it from the SEO point of view either.
