Hello, I signed up at your forums a while ago, they are a great resource, I asked a question and got a quick relevant answer, but I recently fell victim to a phishing attack and I want to consolidate my internet accounts and since I don't frequent these forums I'd like to have my account deleted. Thanks, you have great forums.

I am an administrator on another forum. Typically deleting an account will keep all of that account's posts and information... it won't actually make it so that that person never existed on the forums. I'm not sure for this forum but I imagine it is similar. And there really aren't any relevant legal issues to deleting an account. Any posts made on this website and any accounts registered are property of whoever owns the website.

Making the assumption that Ancient Dragon's link points to what I think it does (i.e. similar thread that appeared on Daniweb a month or two back), there is mention of legal ramifications for Daniweb (and all sites under the same ownership, which would include PFO).
