i personally know a bit of PHP, JavaScript lol?, Java, C++, Perl, VB, and more Python

i don't use AIM if thats what your on about. There is no need you will get much more help posting here on the forums. For there are much better programmers than me here.
Just start by reading some good VB.NET tutorials. It will soon make sense, and you will build on knowledge quickly. Chris
