sounds like good advice.
I'm gonna stick with C# for now because I'm liking it a lot compared to the other languages i have messed with, and also because down the road I want to be able to work with the XNA and maybe write my own xbox live arcade game.
I learn new things in Python every once in a while because I use python instead of shell scripts, so that I only have to know one language to write scripts on Windows or on Linux (I have 2 computers).
As for Java: I'll probably work with Java some more on down the road. I don't really know why, but I just didn't like it very much when I was dabbling with it. I think it is because I didn't understand classes and encapsulation and all that good stuff and the official Java tutorial confused the heck out of me. I was pretty young at the time.
