I'd highly recommend this book, it taught me alot about C++, it was the first programming book I ever bought and used this book for the longest time before I found online tutorials. One of my favourite quotes from the book:

All of you make the book sound so small and unsatisfying. Is it really like that? I was thinking of buying it a while back.
