Yeah, sounds cool. Maybe it could be a way for all of us to see each others programming skills and compare each others approach to a problem. Multi language rules could apply, but it would depend on the challenge, for example: if it is a math challenge, any language could be applied. If it is a GUI challenge (I could be proven wrong with this), it could be kept to one language.

I'll be posting my problem set this weekend. It will be open to all difficulties, for C/C++/Java/Python. For any other language, I will need people to assess their own solutions on the honour system. Afterwards, an analysis of each problem will be given, along with the posted solutions by members. Scores will also be assigned, for fun, based on the solution's ability to solve tricky test files. I will release more info this weekend. This is just a heads up for now.

P.S. I just got the results for the USACO Open Programming competition today. I placed 5th in the proctored junior exam. Would have got perfect, but I accidentally made my array a char array instead of int, when the values are 50% of the time over 256. What a dumb way to lose.

Sometimes the most simplest mistake is always overlooked. Put it this way, as long as that simple mistake didn't end up like a disaster like The Ariane 5 Accident, it's all cool.
