Welcome.

Is "offshore software development" a fancy way of saying "outsourcing to India" ?
One company I used to work for outsourced their email support to India and made them use american names in their responses... sad huh?

It's not hate really, it's resentment. From what I hear, Indians will work for 1/3 of what we normally make for the same job. It's the same with Mexicans, and no I'm not being racists, that's just the way things are. I used to work with a Mexican who would come up from Mexico and work spring and summer, then take his money back to Mexico and live it up the rest of the year. For what he made that 6 months he could live high on the hog in Mexico. And yes, he was here illegally.

Well, for some Americans, it would be hatred, especially if they lost their job to a foreigner.
