Sorry to keep spamming this topic, but we need more people, we're doin ok, but the more people we get, the better off we would be. Just because some of the top teams are over clocking maniacs doesnt mean we couldnt get up there.

I just downloaded it, whenever i can ill be running it. My first WU is 1500 frames and says its gonna take 31 days!! Thing is of my quad core it is only using on average about 30% over all processors...

Are you using the multicore version of it? Or perhaps you should run multiple copies (if you want to max out your cpu usage) |

Re: New PFO Team at Folding@Home: Team #45978
i didn't know there was a multi core version, and you can't run multiply copies or at least i couldn't get it to anyway cause im an idiot. But it doesn't matter anymore for some reason my pc really doesn't like it running so im stuck with running it on and older machine thats 2ghz with 512 ram.

Well, I don't know if you could run multiple copies. I was thinking of running the graphical and console versions simultaneously, but that would probably cause problems.

Re: New PFO Team at Folding@Home: Team #45978
i havn't tried, i guess aslong as you didn't install them in the same directory then it would run both simultaneously ok. but there only way to know for sure is to test it lol.
