I am personally not interested in game development. However, I just wanted to chime in to let you know that age should not be a factor when considering someone for a programming position. I know several teenagers who are extremely better at writing code than most college graduates that I have came across. That and the fact that 20+ means that the person probably already has a job taking up their time and expect to be compensated, where as the younger group may do it just for fun.

I totally understand what you mean, as I have worked with many young coders before on the MODDB. The problem is dealing with maturity, not the skill level, every young programmer I have come accross seemed to be really immature and to me was just not on the level to work professionaly. Of course one day I hope to be proven wrong, because their is nothing better than someone who is young and talented. My age restriction is just applied from past experience.
