I think it's stupid to say a thread that's more than a week/month/year old shouldn't be posted in and then turn around and say, this has been answered before, then point somebody to a thread that's 6 months old. If the information is relevant, and you insist on not answering questions that have been answered before, then don't gripe about old threads being posted in. And, yes, this has been the answer more than a couple (dozen) times here at PFO.
