Re: Game Programming
I have to start somewhere right? I learned C before C++ and it actually helped me a little. And both languages helped me pick up C#. I'm going to start with OpenGL under Win32 (just because I found a decent book on it). When I get to the point where I know what I'm doing, I can learn a current API and keep up with the updates. My ultimate goal is to be able to write games that I can run on my 360, but I don't want to start off with XNA before I have a feel of how games are programmed for WIN32.
