Coin3D and SoQt help!
I am running Windows XP and Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition. I am trying to install Coin3D with the GUI SoQt. I keep getting compiling errors and I don't think that I have the libraries in the right place. If someone has used this before and could answer some questions it would be amazing.
Thanks, -legit |

Re: Coin3D and SoQt help!
did you install the Windows SDK ? It doesn't come with that compiler. But at this point it might be better if you uninstalled that compiler and installed VC++ 2008, which does contain the windows sdk, or at least part of it.

Re: Coin3D and SoQt help!
Ok, I have everything set up but now I am getting the error:
: fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'Inventor/Win/SoWin.h': No such file or directory 1>Project : warning PRJ0018 : The following environment variables were not found: 1>$(COINDIR) I am guessing that I have not put the files into the library but I am not sure exactly how to do that. Also I do know how to fix the environmental variable problem, the tutorial says that I have to have it?.. |

Re: Coin3D and SoQt help!
You may have to include the directory of Coin3D into the system path, or your linker, so your compiler knows where to find it. I have no experience with this. But looking into that could potentially lead you to your answer.
