Wav to Mp3

I have recorded my lecture with a device called Olympus VN-3100PC, which recorded in a wav file format (88kbps, 49.8MB). Can anybody please recommend a good free wav to mp3 conversion tool?

Re: Wav to Mp3

Google for "wav2mp3" and you will surely end up with a great tiny app.

Re: Wav to Mp3

Just tried that tool Klarre, it just produces noise. Gave it three wav files and produces the same noise on all of them.

Audacity will do it. Be sure you have LAME to encode the mp3's.
