Check your version, the latest is 2.1.

That should do it for you. I'm guessing your on Windows XP, this should be fine and work well with it.

In the past I've used this for converting files to WMV and it seems to do a pretty good job since there are a lot of ways you can tweak the file. So maybe try that out as well.

Sorry I need one for windows. If some could give me one I don't need net access for and is free, that'd help. I'm going to be trying a few editors out. For now, I'll have to stick with Movie Maker.
