Shoot, they could have done it in two weeks if they had posted here for volunteers.

You're not a Diablo II addict by any chance, are you?

I was disappointed when I couldn't find the Sourceforge page. I mean, I was just crushed!

I won't say an addict but I loved that game. I played that non stop back in the day when time was infinite for me. I preferred Diablo II over the first one.

I have friends who have lost full blown summers to that game....lol. It's all they did. It was like, "Play Diablo II while eating, Sleep, Repeat"... caught in an infinite loop for two months. after 3-4 years of playing, one my friends had his account deleted because he had a hacked item. Sucked to be him.

Yup, that game is like a tear in the fabric of spacetime. "Huh? What day is it? Really? Oh shit!"

It has the honor (along with Tetris) of being one of the only games I play on a semi-regular basis. It's much more fun with other people, though, and I have spots in my PM box.

well clearly the way they release games is working because they're rolling in the moneys.

I played the first Diablo, and had to deal with the griefers and cheaters so much that I never even considered playing Diablo II.

Well, when you play any online game with total strangers, what else do you expect?

Yes, it's to be expected, but Diablo was by far the worst I've ever played for it. Other games have policies and practices in place to control this activity.
