3-way p2p
What would be the most efficient way to implement a 3 way p2p system?

The first step, I suggest, would be for you to offer a definition of what a "3 way p2p system" is, and what it is intended to achieve.

You mean like two people connect, then another one connects to one of those people, and the third person is able to download both from the one he is connected to, and the one the other guy is connected to? If so, thats pretty much what any p2p does. Take a look into Ares. I am talked with the guy who made it. So maybe I can see if he wouldn't mind helping you.
