I use 1&1 and have had no problems with them, their prices are very good also.

On numerous accasions I have asked them technical questions and have had a response within 24 hours.

In my experience 1&1 = good service

Netweaver is really good for cheap hosting (about £35 per year) and comes with emails and everything but Untied Hosting is brilliant for everything. It even has a site control pannel which you can control all the settings from! I think it's abotu £5 a month from them though.

You should read the WebDesigner magazine. It has loads of good articles and also compares hosting prices and features.
